Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi has been nominated for the NHL's King Clancy Memorial Trophy. This award honors players who demonstrate exceptional leadership on and off the ice, alongside significant humanitarian contributions.

Vilardi has openly shared his experiences with mental health challenges, including anxiety and panic attacks, aiming to support others facing similar struggles.

Currently enjoying a career-best season, the 26-year-old has achieved personal highs in games played, goals, assists, and points, recording 29 goals and 35 assists in 78 games for the Jets.

Team nominees are selected by their respective NHL clubs. The King Clancy Memorial Trophy winner receives a $25,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
