Anthropic Nears $1.5 Billion AI Venture with Wall Street

Anthropic is finalizing a joint venture worth roughly $1.5 billion with Wall Street heavyweights Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and Hellman & Friedman to deploy artificial-intelligence tools for private-equity-backed companies, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Anchoring the deal, Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman are each expected to invest about $300 million. Goldman Sachs is set to contribute roughly $150 million as a founding investor. Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
