Apple has announced the new iPhone 17e, a budget-friendly iPhone model, set to pre-order on March 4 and available March 11 starting at $599. This device replaces last year's iPhone 16e.

The iPhone 17e is powered by an Apple A19 chip, featuring six CPU cores and four GPU cores. It also boasts an upgraded Apple C1X cellular modem for faster speeds and supports Apple Intelligence with 8GB of RAM. The front display utilizes more durable Ceramic Shield 2 glass with an improved, scratch-resistant, and anti-reflective coating.

Key upgrades include MagSafe charging support, a feature absent in the previous model. The base storage has been doubled to 256GB, making the $599 price point more compelling. A 512GB version is also available for $799.
