OpenAI has secured $110 billion in new investment, valuing the ChatGPT maker at $730 billion pre-money. Nvidia and SoftBank each contributed $30 billion, while Amazon invested $50 billion. The company also announced strategic alliances with Amazon and Nvidia.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated, "We’re pushing the frontier across infrastructure, research, and products to make AI more capable, reliable, and broadly useful." He added that partners like SoftBank, Nvidia, and Amazon share the ambition to deliver AI benefits at a global scale.

The partnership with Amazon aims to accelerate AI adoption for enterprises and startups. The expanded Nvidia collaboration will provide dedicated inference and training capacity on next-generation hardware.

Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang commented, "Artificial intelligence is the most consequential technology of our time, and OpenAI is at the forefront." He noted Nvidia's long-standing partnership with OpenAI in developing AI breakthroughs.

Microsoft and OpenAI confirmed that these new investments and partnerships do not alter their existing exclusive agreement, with Microsoft retaining exclusive licenses to OpenAI's models and products.
