Anthropic has launched Claude Design, a new product enabling users to create visual materials like designs, prototypes, and slides by interacting with Claude.
This tool is powered by Anthropic's latest and most capable vision model, Opus 4.7. It is available in research preview for subscribers of Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.
The Opus 4.7 model offers enhanced reasoning capabilities, supports high-resolution images, and features a 1 million token context window. Claude Design acts as a visual creation layer utilizing these upgraded abilities.
The tool assists designers in exploring concepts rapidly and empowers non-designers to translate ideas into visual assets through prompts and direct edits. Teams are reportedly using Claude Design for realistic prototypes, pitch decks, marketing collateral, and code-based prototypes.
Claude Design can process various inputs including images, documents, and codebases. It can adhere to an organization's design system and export work to formats such as Canva, PDF, PPTX, and HTML.
