BRUSSELS, March 19 - The European lobbying group CISPE has filed an antitrust complaint with the European Commission, demanding an immediate interim measure to block Broadcom’s termination of its VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) program in Europe.

CISPE, representing nearly 50 European cloud infrastructure firms-and counting Microsoft and Amazon as associate members-says Broadcom’s January 2026 decision to end the VCSP program excluded most European cloud service providers, leaving only a select few partners.

"Both cloud providers and their customers are being irreparably damaged by Broadcom's unfair actions," said CISPE Secretary General Francisco Mingorance.

The European Commission confirmed receipt of the complaint and said it is assessing it under standard procedures. Broadcom declined to comment.
