BRUSSELS - The European Commission is in active discussions with U.S. AI leaders OpenAI and Anthropic, a spokesperson confirmed Monday.
Spokesperson Thomas Regnier said OpenAI has proactively offered access to its new model, while the Commission has held four or five meetings with Anthropic but not yet discussed model access.
