Multicloud security leader F5 Inc. and data security firm Forcepoint LLC have formed a strategic partnership to secure artificial intelligence throughout its entire lifecycle-from data discovery and classification to runtime protection and continuous oversight.

As enterprises rapidly deploy AI in copilots, assistants, and automated workflows, security practices lag behind, leaving sensitive data exposed and AI behavior unmonitored. Traditional silos between data governance, application security, and runtime controls create dangerous gaps.

The joint offering fuses Forcepoint’s AI-native Data Security Posture Management with F5’s AI Red Team and AI Guardrails within the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform. Together, they deliver real-time identification of data vulnerabilities, risk-based prioritization of AI use cases, and enforcement of runtime controls over APIs, models, and agents.

Security teams gain continuous telemetry and policy validation to ensure AI systems operate securely and align with enterprise governance. The solution detects prompt abuse, blocks data exfiltration, and defends AI workloads against emerging threats.

“By combining Forcepoint’s deep data intelligence with F5’s advanced runtime protections, organizations achieve unmatched confidence in their AI operations,” said F5 CMO John Maddison.

Forcepoint’s Naveen Palavalli added the partnership establishes “a new standard of continuous, adaptive protection that follows data from creation through every stage of its lifecycle-including where AI systems operate and evolve.”

F5 and Forcepoint will showcase the integrated solution at the RSAC Conference in San Francisco, March 23-26.
