Lenovo is spearheading a new era of AI-driven innovation with a strategy focused on unified AI ecosystems. As the world's largest PC maker, the company is evolving from device manufacturing to developing multi-platform systems that adapt to user needs.

Steve Long, Senior Vice President of Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group, stated that "Compute now can go anywhere." This means PCs and computers can be integrated into nearly any device, unlocking new user experiences.

At the forefront are adaptive AI devices, including a novel rollable laptop and the personal AI super-agent, Lenovo Qira. Qira is designed to operate across different platforms, learning user workflows to become a hyper-efficient digital double that anticipates needs. Long explained that Qira allows seamless transitions between devices, retaining context and user history with permission.

"Qira is allowing someone to advance from search to actually predicting and suggesting and working on your behalf," Long added. While agentic AI promises automation, concerns about security and rogue agents persist. Lenovo emphasizes user control, focusing on opt-in options and highlighting benefits like productivity and employee satisfaction.

Lenovo is also experimenting with new screen formats, notably its rollable laptop. This device features a 14-inch screen that expands to 16.7 inches, offering a larger display for immersive content or entertainment. The screen can then retract for portability.

Voice interaction is another key area of revolution. Lenovo's AI Workmate prototype showcases capabilities like creating presentations and postcards through voice commands, aiming to make advanced features accessible to a wider audience.
