Meta and CoreWeave have expanded their artificial intelligence infrastructure agreement, now valued at $21 billion. The extended partnership runs through December 2032 and will support Meta's demanding AI inference workloads.
CoreWeave announced the deal, which increases the infrastructure supporting Meta's AI operations. "This is another example that leading companies are choosing CoreWeave’s AI cloud to run their most demanding workloads," stated CoreWeave co-founder and CEO Michael Intrator.
The agreement provides Meta access to CoreWeave's AI cloud capacity for developing and deploying AI systems, including large-scale inference. The deployment will utilize some of the first Nvidia Vera Rubin platforms across multiple locations to optimize performance and scalability.
This expansion follows a previous $14 billion AI infrastructure deal struck in 2025. The news coincides with Meta's accelerated push into advanced AI, including the recent introduction of its multimodal model, Muse Spark, and a new AI Scaling Framework focused on safety and reliability.
Shares for both Meta and CoreWeave saw gains following the announcement.
