Nvidia and LG Group have announced a strategic collaboration to build an 'AI factory' spanning humanoid robotics, autonomous driving, and data center development. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and LG Chairman Koo Kwang-mo outlined plans for motor technology and future data center architecture.

LG is developing a home robot called CLoiD and a physical AI data factory running on Nvidia’s Cosmos platform. The system trains robots in simulated environments before real-world deployment, using Nvidia’s Isaac Sim and DSX platforms. The Cosmos models generate synthetic training data for robots and autonomous vehicles, reducing the need for real-world footage.

Discussions began in late April 2026 and were formalized in the June announcement.
