Nous Research has streamlined the connection between xAI’s Grok models and its open-source Hermes Agent. SuperGrok subscribers can now link their accounts directly using browser-based OAuth authentication, bypassing the traditional API key management process.

Technical Upgrades

The integration now utilizes the Responses API for Grok 4 models, removing the need for the reasoning_effort parameter. A prompt caching mechanism automatically sends the x-grok-conv-id header for efficient routing and conversation context.
