Nokia is expanding its partnerships with TIM Brasil and Deutsche Telekom to capitalize on the global adoption of AI-based technologies. These expanded deals highlight how AI-enabling technology is creating new revenue streams for the Finnish gear maker.

The network partnership with TIM Brasil will now cover 14 additional states, reaching approximately 42 percent of Brazil's population. This collaboration will enable TIM Brasil to offer AI-driven services to business customers using Nvidia's AI-RAN platforms.

Furthermore, Nokia and Deutsche Telekom will accelerate the development of cloud-based, disaggregated, and AI-native radio access network (RAN) technology. This initiative aims to build programmable and automated mobile networks optimized for future connectivity needs amidst a global AI boom.

These agreements underscore the ongoing global race among telecom operators to upgrade to 5G networks, fostering broader AI adoption and creating a substantial market for equipment providers like Nokia. The move aligns with Nokia's broader restructuring efforts, as it bets on AI and data center demand to offset challenges in the 5G sector.
