OKX, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange recently valued at $25 billion, has launched a new social networking feature named Orbit directly within its trading application. This strategic move integrates social interaction with crypto trading tools, aiming to foster a more transparent and community-driven environment.

Orbit allows users to share market opinions, livestream trading discussions, and form trading groups. A key component of the feature is verified performance metrics, enabling users to display portfolio returns, profit/loss records, and win rates, thereby combating misleading market hype. The feature, which began beta testing in February, is designed to provide a trusted space where trading discussions are supported by real performance data.

OKX's introduction of Orbit acknowledges the significant role social media plays in crypto traders' decision-making processes. By combining trading functionalities with educational resources and community feedback mechanisms, OKX aims to enhance the user experience, facilitating both learning and trading on a single platform.
