SEOUL, May 29 - Samsung Electronics confirmed Friday it has begun shipping samples of its 12-layer HBM4E memory chip, claiming it as the industry’s first shipment of such products.
The samples are being sent to key AI players including AMD, Nvidia, and Google, as demand for advanced memory chips surges to power AI servers and processors.
