Medical device maker Stryker said Thursday its manufacturing is mostly restored after a cyberattack disrupted global operations on March 11.
Shares rose 2% as the company confirmed critical production lines are back online across most sites. Electronic ordering systems have been reinstated, and teams are prioritizing order reconciliation and safe product delivery.
The Iran-linked hacking group Handala claimed responsibility, citing retaliation for an airstrike on a girls’ school in Minab, southern Iran. Affected devices included Windows-based laptops and cellphones connected to internal networks.
Stryker, employing 56,000 across 61 countries, is working with cybersecurity experts and authorities to neutralize hacker domains.
