Tesla announced Friday that Dutch regulators have approved its driver assistance software for use on highways and city streets under human supervision. This marks the first regulatory clearance for the technology in Europe.
The approval from the Dutch vehicle authority for the full self-driving software, which is already available in the U.S., could facilitate acceptance by other European regulators.
