Webull launched cryptocurrency trading services in Canada on June 30, 2026, after its dedicated entity, Webull Canada Crypto Limited, secured approval from the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization on June 17.
Trading is available around the clock with no commission fees. The initial launch supports six digital assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Cardano, and Litecoin.
The service integrates with existing Webull Canada accounts, allowing clients who trade equities and options to add digital assets seamlessly. Access begins with a beta for select clients, with a wider rollout expected shortly.
CEO Michael Constantino described the move as filling a gap in the Canadian market for a regulated, credible digital asset investment avenue. The firm notes these crypto trading services are not covered by the Canadian Investor Protection Fund, though eligible cash balances in accounts may still qualify for CIPF protection under certain conditions.
This launch continues a busy year for Webull Canada. The company introduced equities trading in January 2024 and added zero-commission trading and US equities access on June 16, 2026.
