Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has released concept art based on insider information, offering a detailed preview of Apple's long-awaited Siri overhaul, expected at WWDC 2026.
The new Siri will live in the Dynamic Island, accessible via the Side button, voice, or a new pull-down gesture. A standalone Siri app is also in the works, resembling chatbots like ChatGPT but with Apple's Liquid Glass design. Users will be able to ask questions, upload attachments, and receive rich, summarized answers.
Apple is also integrating Siri into the Camera app, placing a new Siri option between Photo and Portrait modes. This replaces the existing Visual Intelligence feature. The assistant will be powered by Apple Intelligence and may also offer Claude and Gemini as model options.
The upgrade aims to make Siri smarter and more capable, handling tasks like scheduling, email drafting, and web searches. Whether users will adopt this new AI experience remains to be seen, but Apple's focus is on seamless integration with its ecosystem.
