Federal employees at multiple agencies say the White House app is being automatically downloaded onto their government phones and cannot be uninstalled. Workers from the USDA, State Department, and Department of Labor reported the app appeared without consent and reappears immediately after deletion.

The app, launched in March, promises 'real-time updates, live events, and direct access to the Presidency.' A button allows users to 'text President Trump,' which autofills a message reading 'Greatest President Ever.' Its social section streams posts from the White House X account, Trump’s Truth Social, and other platforms. The news section features pro-administration articles from outlets such as Fox News and Breitbart.

One federal worker described the experience as 'shooting pure unadulterated propaganda into our veins.' The app’s privacy policy lacks detailed disclosures, raising additional concerns.
