An Italian authority is investigating luxury group LVMH for potentially marketing skincare products to children under 10 through young influencers. The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) claims this could promote unhealthy obsessions with skincare in youth. Inspections were conducted at LVMH and Sephora's Italian offices. Both entities will cooperate with the probe into unfair commercial practices related to the promotion of face masks, serums, and anti-aging creams to minors. LVMH asserts their compliance with Italian regulations.
Experts warn that such products can lead to skin issues in children.
