French police have made two additional arrests in connection with an attempted bombing at the Bank of America headquarters in Paris. A suspect was caught on Saturday morning while placing a homemade explosive device near the building, which is located close to the iconic Champs-Élysées. This individual was reportedly a minor from Senegal, recruited via Snapchat for the attack and offered about $692. Another accomplice was seen taking photos and fled upon police arrival. The arrestees were allegedly involved in a terrorist enterprise aimed at causing dangerous damage.
Investigations by the National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor's Office, Paris police, and domestic intelligence services continue to uncover more details. Charges include attempted arson, manufacturing, and transporting an explosive device in connection with terrorism.
