A 15-year-old girl from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, appeared in court for a bail hearing after allegedly plotting coordinated school attacks in Nova Scotia and Manitoba.

Police say the teen and a 14-year-old boy from Rivers, Manitoba, discussed carrying out simultaneous assaults on their local schools online.
Authorities searched her Bridgewater home and seized handwritten plans, imitation weapons, a crude imitation pipe bomb, an assault rifle replica, and clothing bearing hate symbols.
Interpol and the FBI alerted Canadian police to the threat. The girl faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder and uttering threats. Investigators are also assessing possible hate crime charges.
