Lebanon's health ministry reports that Israeli strikes have killed over 3,000 people since the conflict with Hezbollah escalated in early March. As of Monday, the toll stands at 3,020.

The fighting began on March 2, when Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel after an Israeli strike killed Iran's supreme leader. Despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire starting April 17, over 400 deaths have occurred since then. Both sides have repeatedly violated the truce, with Israel continuing strikes across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, and Hezbollah claiming drone attacks on Israeli positions.

Israel has lost 20 soldiers and 4 civilians since early March. Israeli ground forces still occupy a 10-kilometer strip along the Lebanese border.
