A high-end car dealership in Calgary was destroyed in an early morning fire on Monday. Firefighters responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 5500 block of 1A Street Southwest, finding thick smoke and flames engulfing the building.
District Chief Brent Fahlman confirmed crews called a second alarm due to the fire's intensity, with 13 trucks dispatched, including units using master lines from above. Several high-end vehicles were inside, including a hybrid vehicle that investigators are focusing on.
Firefighters entered the structure and confirmed no injuries. The cause remains under investigation.
