Israel and Lebanon are preparing for direct talks, according to Haaretz, marking a potential diplomatic shift as the war with Hezbollah intensifies.

Lebanon has formed a delegation, seeking clarity on a ceasefire framework. President Joseph Aoun has called for negotiations to end hostilities. Meanwhile, Israel continues its offensive, killing over 800 people and displacing 800,000.

Haaretz reported that Jared Kushner, U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, may participate in talks expected in Paris or Cyprus, with Ron Dermer leading Israel's team.

Hezbollah, backed by Iran, insists on Israeli withdrawal, halt of attacks, and prisoner release before any deal. The group rejects Lebanese government attempts to ban its military activities.

The Israeli military warned it may strike ambulances if used by Hezbollah, though no evidence was provided. At least 26 medics have been killed since March 2. International law protects medical facilities unless they’re used for military purposes.
