Extremist Jewish settlers launched a series of attacks on Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank after the death of 18-year-old Yehuda Sherman, who was reportedly struck by a vehicle while riding a quad bike.

The violence erupted in response to WhatsApp group calls for a 'revenge campaign,' with over 20 attacks reported overnight. Villages including Fanduqmiya, Jalud, Qaryut, and Silat al-Dhah were targeted, with homes, vehicles, and agricultural fields set ablaze.

Footage circulated online showed more than 90 masked individuals entering Jalud, while fires, shattered windows, and emergency sirens were documented. One building bore the spray-painted message: "Avenge Yehuda." At least three Palestinians were hospitalized after confronting attackers.

The Israel Defense Forces deployed troops and border police to the area. The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the assaults as acts of terror against civilians and infrastructure during Eid al-Fitr. Israeli far-right officials attended Sherman’s funeral, where over 500 gathered. Settler groups were reported regrouping near Palestinian villages, with additional fires reported north-west of Nablus.
