Approximately 750 people were successfully evacuated from a nightclub in southwest Germany Saturday night after a major fire.

Police say the fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. at the K Club in Kehl, located near the border with France. The blaze spread throughout the building.

All 750 people inside managed to escape. Three individuals received treatment from emergency services but were not hospitalized.

Images showed a huge fire consuming the club's roof. The K Club, located in an industrial area, specializes in hip-hop and Afro music and often hosts audiences from nearby Strasbourg, France.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.

The incident follows a fatal fire at a bar in the Swiss Crans-Montana ski resort months earlier that killed 41 people.
