Authorities allege the YouTuber, Kim Se-ui, created a fake voice recording using AI and manipulated text message screenshots to suggest Kim Soo-hyun had dated actress Kim Sae-ron when she was still a minor.
The scandal emerged after Kim Sae-ron's death by suicide at age 24. Kim Soo-hyun, once a top star in South Korea, has denied the allegations. Police claim the YouTuber spread false claims for financial gain, collapsing the actor's career.
