In Tammun, occupied West Bank, twelve-year-old Khaled Bani Odeh survived an encounter where Israeli forces shot his parents and two younger brothers dead inside their family car. The incident occurred early Saturday morning near Tubas following a shopping trip ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

The Israeli military stated the vehicle accelerated toward troops conducting arrests, forcing a lethal response. Conversely, a local witness testified the car was stationary when fired upon without warning. Over 50 bullet casings were recovered from the scene.

Eight-year-old Mustafa sustained shrapnel injuries during the attack. His grandmother, Najah Bani Odeh, characterized the killing as part of escalating violence since October 2023. UN humanitarian office data records over 1,000 Palestinian deaths in the region during this period. Opposition leader Yair Lapid condemned the government's handling of child casualties.
