London's Metropolitan Police are investigating an arson attack on four Hatzalah ambulances as an antisemitic hate crime. The vehicles were set ablaze at Highfield Court in Golders Green at 1:40 a.m. Monday.
The London Fire Brigade reported multiple gas cylinder explosions, shattering windows in a nearby residential block. No injuries occurred; all fires were extinguished.
Superintendent Sarah Jackson confirmed officers remain on scene, CCTV is under review, and three suspects are sought. No arrests have been made.
The attack follows a sharp rise in UK antisemitic incidents - 3,700 reported in 2025 versus 1,662 in 2022 - according to the Community Security Trust.
Nearby homes were evacuated and road closures remained in place.
