India and Israel have pledged to fight terrorism "shoulder to shoulder," as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded a two-day visit focused on deepening strategic ties. Standing alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Modi stated, "India and Israel are clear that there is no place for terrorism in the world, in any form... We will oppose it shoulder to shoulder."

The leaders announced a series of initiatives aimed at deepening trade and technological cooperation, highlighting progress towards a free trade agreement and expanding investment in areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and digital payments integration. Netanyahu described the partnership as seizing the future together, emphasizing innovation.

More than a dozen agreements were signed between the two countries in fields including education, geophysical exploration, and artificial intelligence. Modi also reaffirmed India's support for Israel following the October 7th Hamas attack, stating, "India stands with Israel firmly with full conviction."
