Jonathan Andic, son of the late Isak Andic who founded the Mango clothing chain, has publicly denied accusations that he murdered his father.

The 45-year-old called the charges 'serious, unjust and unfounded' in a letter to staff on Tuesday. He announced he will step down as vice president of the company's board to focus on his legal defense.

Jonathan Andic was arrested last week and released after posting $1.2 million bail. He and his father, the 71-year-old billionaire, were hiking near Barcelona in December 2024 when Isak Andic fell to his death.

Initially considered an accident, prosecutors reopened the investigation in October 2025, focusing on the son.
