A 26-year-old man was arrested in New Jersey for allegedly planning a violent attack against Nerdeen Kiswani, a prominent pro-Palestinian activist based in New York. Police found eight Molotov cocktails in his home. Kiswani, co-founder of Within Our Lifetime, learned of the plot after the suspect's arrest.

According to court documents, the suspect, identified as Alexander Heifler, participated in discussions with a "self-defence" group, including an undercover law enforcement officer, about the attack. Surveillance of Kiswani's home was also conducted before his arrest. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani stated that Heifler was reportedly linked to the Jewish Defense League, a known extremist group.
