The U.S. State Department has announced a $10 million reward for information leading to the identification of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and senior figures within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The reward is part of the Rewards for Justice program, targeting individuals accused of involvement in attacks against Americans and support for terrorism. Key figures include Ali Asghar Hejazi, deputy chief of staff for the Supreme Leader’s Office, and Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

The IRGC, established after the 1979 Iranian Revolution, has expanded far beyond military operations into Iran’s political and economic systems, wielding significant influence over foreign policy and domestic affairs.

The department emphasized that the group has directed multiple attacks on U.S. personnel and facilities, and continues to be a central instrument of Iran’s statecraft.
