Toronto police are investigating after finding evidence of gunfire at the U.S. consulate in the city's downtown core.
Officers responded to a call for a shooting at the consulate at 5:29 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, they discovered evidence of gunfire. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
No suspect information has been released. Streets around the consulate, located at 360 University Avenue near Queen Street West, are currently closed as the investigation continues. Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
