Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated the nation reserves its full right to respond proportionately to aggression, in defense of its security and national interests. The ministry also called for an immediate halt to any escalatory actions and reaffirmed commitment to dialogue with Iran.
Earlier attacks targeted US interests across the region, with explosions reported on US bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. The Ministry of Defence confirmed its air defenses successfully intercepted several missiles before they entered Qatari airspace, including a third wave targeting multiple areas across the country.
The ministry stressed the armed forces are capable of protecting national security and responding firmly to external threats, asserting the security situation remains stable and under control.
