Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's unmanned systems, is intensifying deep strikes into Russia, targeting oil export facilities and Russian troops. His forces are now capable of reaching targets up to 2,000 km inside Russian territory.
These attacks aim to inflict billions of dollars in losses on Russia's energy sector. Brovdi stated that oil refineries are legitimate military targets when used to fund the war. The commander operates from a high-tech underground command center, where his unit, making up 2% of Ukraine's military, claims responsibility for a third of all destroyed targets with a casualty rate under 1%.

Brovdi, formerly a grain dealer and art collector known as 'Magyar', transitioned to military service before the full-scale invasion. His unit, the 414th Brigade, "Birds of Magyar," focuses on striking military personnel, aiming to kill more enemy soldiers monthly than Russia can recruit. He also seeks to degrade Russian morale through high casualty rates and visible damage to infrastructure.

Brovdi's strategy emphasizes preventing Russian advances rather than conducting large-scale offensives. He believes these strikes aim to make Russians question their country's war efforts and leadership.
