Thailand is embracing 'healing' as the new luxury in travel, combining its renowned gastronomy with extensive wellness offerings. Suladda Sarutilavan, Executive Director for Europe at the Tourism Authority of Thailand, highlighted the country's appeal in healthy, flavorful cuisine and active tourism.

"Healing is the new luxury," Sarutilavan stated. "You can heal your body with Thai food, you can heal your mind with meditation." The nation's culinary fame extends from popular dishes like pad Thai to regional specialties, with opportunities for gastronomy tours across diverse locales.

Beyond dining, active tourism options include Thai boxing and Muay Thai. The Bangkok Marathon also draws participants annually. For those seeking urban rejuvenation, Bangkok offers substantial green spaces like Lumphini Park for exercise and relaxation, alongside the new Dusit Central Park. Creative districts such as Song Wat and Charoen Krung provide street art, galleries, and cafes.

Attractions like 'Jurassic World: The Experience' in Bangkok, along with its filming locations in national parks, are also drawing visitors. April is recommended for first-time visitors, coinciding with the vibrant Songkran Festival, Thailand's New Year celebration featuring water-splashing events nationwide.
