US President Donald Trump stated the Iran war will end "very soon," within two to three weeks, emphasizing that the conflict will conclude whether or not a deal is reached.
"We want to knock out every single thing they have," Trump said, indicating a decisive military strategy. He noted the US would consider a diplomatic resolution but warned it wouldn’t alter the outcome.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded, vowing to continue Israel's military operations against Tehran, stating, "The campaign is not over."
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed willingness to end the conflict but demanded assurances against future hostilities.
Fresh attacks targeted Kuwait International Airport, where a drone strike caused a large fire. Iran-backed militias in Iraq reportedly carried out the assault.
In Bahrain, a business facility also caught fire from an Iranian strike, and a tanker was attacked near Qatar.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the US would "reexamine" its relationship with NATO following the conflict, questioning the alliance's value if military bases can’t be used.
Rubio emphasized past support for NATO but questioned its utility if it restricts US military actions.
"If we can no longer use those bases to defend America's interests, then NATO is a one-way street," he said.
