British police are investigating a suspected arson attack on a memorial wall in Golders Green, north London. The incident occurred early Monday morning. Police stated the memorial wall itself was not damaged.

Counter-terror police are leading the investigation, though it is not currently being treated as terror-related. Authorities are keeping an open mind regarding the motive. No arrests have been made.

This follows a previous attack last month where vehicles belonging to a Jewish ambulance service were set on fire in the same area. A group identifying as Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia claimed responsibility for that incident and threatened U.S. and Israeli interests.

Authorities acknowledge heightened concerns in Golders Green due to the series of attacks and have increased police patrols, including those from Project Servator, to deter criminal activity.
