The United States and Iran have officially signed an agreement to end hostilities following more than three months of armed conflict. Officials from both nations confirmed the deal was finalized on Wednesday.

The White House states the agreement is now in effect and includes provisions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. However, it remains unclear when full access to this critical global trade corridor will be restored.

Restoring the vital oil route marks a significant step toward stabilizing global markets after months of economic turmoil triggered by US-Israeli strikes on Iran in late February.
