The US military launched a sixth consecutive night of strikes against Iran overnight, targeting critical infrastructure near the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian state media reported deadly strikes hit an airport in Iranshahr and the Bandar Abbas Railway Junction Station. Bandar Abbas is home to Iran's largest port and key naval facilities.

Airstrikes also hit two bridges in Hormozgan Province. Official reports cited two deaths and multiple injuries from the attacks.

The strikes mark a significant escalation in the week-long exchange of fire between the US and Iran, largely unraveling a recent truce. The US stated the operations aim to degrade Iranian military capabilities.
