EA FC fans are in hysterics thanks to one new 'Clubs' feature

EA FC fans have poked fun at examples of a new update set to feature in the beloved 'Clubs' mode of FC 25.

The iconic game's 'Clubs' feature has long been a popular feature of EA Sports FC, with a number of celebrities also diehard fans of the mode.

But it remains to be seen what the new Plymouth Argyle manager will think of the latest set of upgrades due to launch in the latest iteration of the game this September.

Fans on social media were left in hysterics at the bizarre specifity of the new customisations the game now allows users to make to their players.

EA Sports FC 25 is due to launch in September 2024 with fans desperate to get their hands on the latest edition

New creator mechanics available in FC 25 means that gamers can tweak their player's facial features and personal attributes with an even higher level of detail - causing some testing of the as-yet-unavailable game's customisations to create unusual looking avatars.

'EA FC25 Pro Clubs looking amazing this! (weary face) (laugh-cry emoji)' one user on social media site X (formerly Twitter) shared with a picture of the faces created using the new settings.

Another jibed: 'EA FC 25 Pro Clubs is off to a flying start'.

But users across the social media platform were mixed in their opinions of the new feature, with some suggesting that the advancement was a positive one.

There is certainly no hard-and-fast rule that a user's player avatar must look exactly like them - as Littler, a devoted fan of the game, proved when sharing a picture of his screen playing Pro Clubs on his social media pages.

'Love a game of clubs,' Littler shared in February, and a number of fans were awestruck when they caught a glimpse of his avatar, suggesting it bore little relations to the 17-year-old himself.

Littler has been vocal about his interest in gaming alongside a meteoric budding darts career, with the teenager joking earlier this year that a loss in the Players Championship 4 meant that he could 'play Xbox all day'.

EA Sports FC 25 is set to be launched on the last Friday of this September, with an early-access offer available for those who pre-order the game on September 20.
