Fans stunned as Carragher reveals Premier League top six predictions

Manchester City will be aiming to win the title for the fifth time in succession.

Arsenal will also be going for glory after finishing second in the last two seasons.

Meanwhile, there will be much competition amongst clubs that are looking to finish in the top four.

Jamie Carragher has revealed his predictions for the Premier League's top six this season

Unsurprisingly, Carragher has tipped Pep Guardiola's City to be crowned champions again.

Carragher also believes that Arsenal will finish second for the third season in a row.

According to Carragher his former team Liverpool, now managed by Arne Slot, will end up in third place.

The ex-defender feels that Tottenham will finish fourth, ahead of Manchester United in fifth.

Although Aston Villa secured a top four finish last season, Carragher has predicted that Unai Emery's side will finish sixth this time around.

Unsurprisingly, Carragher's predictions prompted a backlash from United fans on X, with one writing: 'Who ever takes this guy serious'.

Meanwhile, another fan claimed that United can win the title this season. They wrote: 'Manchester United is winning the league hands down this season and I have a reason for saying this, Our 1-2 passes will be the end of many teams this season.'

Another user added: 'Liverpool will struggle second half of the season. I think he should worry more about that.'

Furthermore, another fan criticised Carragher as they wrote: 'Terrible as ever, he never gets any predictions right'.
