Marcus Rashford posts footage from private training session

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashfordhas shared a video of himself training privately following his poor start to the season.

The 26-year-old was left out of Lee Carsley's first England squad for the Nations League games against the Republic of Ireland and Finland.

His latest snub from the Three Lions comes after he failed to make the squad for the Euro 2024 squad following an underwhelming campaign last term.

Rashford's fortunes have so for not changed  in the new season, with the forward coming under criticism for his performances.

He has been working hard to sharpen up his skills during the international break by training away from United and with the RH Elite Coaching team in Manchester.

And Rashford showed off his training routine with a video to his 17 million Instagram followers, using the caption: 'Raw material'.

In the two minute clip, the England international is seen practising his dribbling and shooting with some brilliant results.

Rashford is yet to score or assist a single goal from United's opening three games of the season, with Erik ten Hag's side suffering two defeats in that time.

His latest dismal performance came in United's 3-0 defeat by Liverpool last weekend and Gary Neville didn't hold back in his criticism of Rashford.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: 'there's no confidence .He had a one on one with Konate and he's ended back up at CB.

'The United fans aren't going to let him get away with that. Whatever happens, you still have to go for it and take the one on one on.

'He might not be having a great day, great time, but he's just turned back and that tells you where his head is at.

'It's been going on 14 months, he scored 30 goals the season before last.

'I'd like to think he can get his confidence back but it's looking like a struggled. The game doesn't look enjoyable for him right now and that's sad.

'As it is seeing Casemiro in the first half, it's sad watching that kid because he has been a joy for United at times in his career but it is getting hard work for him and hard work for fans to watch him.'
