Plymouth manager Wayne Rooney has been spotted performing karaoke at a local pub.

Rooney, 38, looked in good spirits at The Cider Press as he belted out a tune, which received a good reception from those in attendance.

He was seen wearing a baseball cap and casual clothes.

So far, Rooney has won one, drawn two and lost two of his five games in charge of Plymouth.

Rooney's Plymouth were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the second round this week as they lost 2-0 away to Watford.

Plymouth are back in Championship action on Saturday with a home game against Stoke.

Prior to taking charge at Home Park, Rooney managed Derby County, DC United and Birmingham.

During an illustrious playing career he became Manchester United's all-time record scorer with 253 goals and also held that accolade for England with 53 strikes before being surpassed by Harry Kane.

Rooney had two spells at Everton as well as playing for DC United and Derby.
