The ASI Alliance and Matterhorn have partnered to launch a new safety-focused vibecoding system for building decentralized applications on ASI:Chain. This initiative aims to empower individuals without computer science degrees to develop, audit, and deploy dApps securely, mitigating risks associated with buggy smart contracts.

Matterhorn offers an AI-powered Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that generates smart contracts and applications from natural language. It includes deployment tools, front-end generation, DePIN integration, and a Vibe-Audit system for AI and human code review prior to deployment. Templates and testing are also tailored for ASI:Chain's unique execution model.

ASI:Chain provides the foundational decentralized infrastructure, with plans for further integration with ASI:One, Z.AI models, and ASI Wallet. ASI:Cloud replaces traditional cloud services with decentralized AI inference and execution for both development and live applications.

This launch arrives as AI-generated code becomes more prevalent, underscoring the need for enhanced safeguards in blockchain development. The partnership seeks to fuse blockchain's security and transparency with AI's fluency and usability, creating an advanced application environment. The teams target onboarding 20,000 builders in 2026.
