Phemex, a major cryptocurrency exchange serving over 10 million traders, has integrated with Ondo Finance. This new partnership allows users to directly trade 14 tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the blockchain. The move signifies Phemex's strategic expansion into the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs).
The tokenized assets now available include shares of major U.S. companies like NVIDIA, Tesla, and Apple, alongside the Nasdaq 100 ETF. These traditional financial instruments have been converted into blockchain-based tokens, offering users the ability to hold and trade them within the crypto ecosystem. This integration aims to bridge traditional finance with decentralized finance, providing exposure to traditional markets without requiring users to leave the crypto environment.
