DoorDash is launching a fuel relief program for its U.S. drivers as gas prices surge past $3.90 per gallon.
Drivers using the DoorDash Crimson card receive 10% cash back on all gas purchases - whether actively delivering or not. Those driving 125+ miles weekly also qualify for fuel relief payments from $5 to $15, depending on mileage.
Combined benefits could save drivers $1.40-$1.90 per gallon. Electric vehicle users aren’t left out: Crimson cardholders earn 2% back on EV charging; all Dashers get charging discounts.
“Dashers in rural or suburban areas benefit most,” the company notes, citing longer delivery routes.
The program runs through April 26. Cody Aughney, VP of Dasher & Logistics: “This is about giving Dashers real savings at the pump.”
Rising fuel costs follow heightened tensions in the Middle East, where oil infrastructure has become a strategic target.
